I have added some content about the Lady Trojans on this site, because I feel that with the title being "Portsmouth Trojans Basketball", that presenting some material about them is necessary and appropriate. While this site has been since its inception in 2011 primarily a Portsmouth boys basketball website, and will continue to be so, there will be some inclusion about the Lady Trojans.

Basketball Update 8/23/24
Jeff Lisath is no longer the head boys basketball coach of the Portsmouth Trojans. Lisath resigned his position after the
PCSD did not have a job to offer him. Lisath will remain employed by the Dayton Northridge schools, where he served as
assistant superintendent. Lisath led the Trojans to a 17-7 record in 2023-24, the most wins since 2017 and the school's
1st sectional title since that 2017 season. Seniors DeAndre Berry and Donnovan Breech made all state honors.
The boys basketball job is now open, with August 19 being the deadline for applications. Any further information pertaining to this job will be posted on this site.
