Portsmouth Trojans in KSA Tournament Dec. 27-30

The Portsmouth Trojans will travel to Florida to play in the KSA Holiday Tournament in Orlando on Dec.27-30. This will be the Trojans' 4th trip to the tournament, and in 3 previous trips have compiled a very good 7-2 record, winning it with a 3-0 record in their very first year of participation. The roster of teams is listed below, and PHS has been already advanced past the first round due to a scheduling snafu. Portsmouth was to play Wade Christian(FL) on 12/27, but has already been credited for a win, and now will play the winner of The Priory School (CA) vs. Germantown Friends School (PA). On the other side of the bracket, there are 4 teams, Olentangy (OH), Fordham Prep (NY), Bishop Eustace (NJ), and Hilliard (FL). The rest of the Trojans' schedule is TBD, but games will be played on 12/28 and 12/30. The game of 12/28 will start at 2:30 PM, after that the times of future games will be determined by whether the Trojans' win or lose their first game.

Update 12/28/19: Portsmouth won its first game of the KSA vs. Wade Christian Acad.(FL) 71-53. Matthew Fraulini scored 34 points. The Trojans are now 8-2 all time at the KSA.  They will play today vs. Germantown Friends School (PA). PHS is now 3-4 on the season, and Coach Eugene Collins is now only 3 wins shy of becoming the 2nd winningest coach in Trojan history, with an overall record of 166-84. Red Hopkins went 168-58 from 1926-1936.
Update 12/30/19: Portsmouth lost to Germantown Friends School 58-55 on a 3 pointer at the buzzer. No scoring totals available. The Trojans will now conclude play today with a game vs. opponent TBD.
Update 12/31/19: Portsmouth lost its final game of the KSA to Bishop Eustace (NJ) 73-53. No scoring details are available, but Matthew Fraulini was named tournament MVP (8 team bracket). Portsmouth finished its 4th trip to the KSA with an overall record of 8-4.
